Dance Force has quickly become a leading studio in Australia as we seek to provide students with the best tutoring and courses and assist students in successfully securing work in the industry. We pride ourselves on having a large percentage of graduates working in the industry after graduation from our full-time dance courses. We only accept limited students so that each individual receives the personal attention they need to ensure they achieve their goals.
Industry Opportunity
Industry Fridays. Dance Force Students get the privilege of an interstate guest teacher being flown in weekly. This allows students to make valuable industry connections as well as learn from the choreographers’ wealth of knowledge and experience.
Australian Grad Tour
We are the only commercial full-time course that has a tour. Not only does this give students a learning experience like no other, but their talent is seen by agents and potential employers from all over the country, providing even more opportunities for them to be employed following graduation. This was extremely successful in 2017 and we are planning an even bigger and better tour this year! This is an opportunity you will only get at Dance Force!

Dancers will be given exclusive access to some of Australia’s best photographers and videographers to ensure they have appropriate head and body shots and show-reels for auditions. This is proven to help students stand out in a crowd!

The founder and director of Dance Force, Nicole Wells is dedicated to all her students. Nicole's lifetime love and passion for dance are continuously passed on to all that meet her. Every week students will get an array of different teachers who are Australia's most sought-after choreographers and industry professionals. Certificate IV
CUA40113 Certificate IV in Dance
The Certificate IV in Performing Arts (Dance) is aimed at preparing students for a professional career in Dance as a Performer, Choreographer and/or Dance Instructor based on their individual abilities. Once graduated, you will be able to pursue opportunities with Commercials, Musical Theatre, Film & Television, Overseas placements, Contemporary Dance companies, Cruise Ships, Stage productions, Promotional and Corporate Events, Choreography and more.
This course prepares students for real-life situations within the dance industry such as:

Certificate lll in Dance
CUA30113 Certificate III in Dance
The Certificate III in Dance at Dance Force course gives students a great introduction to full-time training and the performing arts industry. This course is only one day a week (Friday) so students can complete this while still at school. If you are serious about becoming a professional this course is a wonderful start to your career while gaining points towards your High School Certificate.
The core focus of this course is to develop and improve your technique and skills in learning choreography. Most of our part-time students have gone on to complete Full-Time courses and have been successful in securing work in the industry.

Q. What classes do I undertake on a Friday?
A. Your day will be split into 4 sections. You will regularly take classes with Nicole Wells, Ben Veitch, Sonja Middelbosch, James Fenwick as well as the weekly interstate teacher and many other Gold Coast guest teachers.
Q. Can I still go to my home studio?
A. Yes. This course is purely done on Fridays from 8.30am - 3.30pm. It doesn’t clash with any of your regular studio commitments. It is just like another school day.
The Certificate III is a great course for students wanting to extend their training while still at school.

Full Time Elite Performance – Pre Professional Course
Over the years we have seen so many amazing students who don't know what to do after a certificate course if they don't find work immediately. We wanted to create something that was completely aimed at refining a students’ skills to make the transition from an amazing dancer to a professional in all aspects of the word. This course runs Monday – Friday 8:30 – 3:30pm.
Weekly Mock Auditions covering all genres
Students will be briefed on the Friday for the mock audition every Monday. This regular experience in so valuable in building confidence and working out what your strengths and weaknesses are and how to fix your weaknesses before the real thing.

Academic Excellence Program – Performing Arts High School
Our performing arts high school is designed for students who are dedicated and passionate about a career in the performing arts industry while still completing their education.
Dance Force works alongside the Australian Student Tutor network. This ensures small class sizes that give the students the individual attention needed to achieve the best academic results possible. Students will have one teacher per 5 students and class times will be scheduled into and around their full-time dance training.
Students who are accepted into our Academic Excellence full-time training program must independently enrol with Distance education. We suggest Cairns Distance Education but you may select another, just inform us.
There are different options for Vocational Education Training (VET) that will combine with your schooling. This will depend on dance experience, ability and capability. A personalised plan will be made by Nicole Wells upon enrolment.

Will the academic excellence/ full-time program interfere with my home studio?
Absolutely not. You can still train with your home studio if you wish.
Will the workload be too much too handle?
Absolutely not, because you will be completing a Certificate IV with your 11 & 12 you are only required to do a few subjects.
